Chelsea have told Frank Lampard to take it easy after the midfielder suffered an injury scare ahead of the game against Singha.
Lampard is reported to have pulled up during the warm up with an Achilles problem and Chelsea will not take any risks with him during the rest of the tour of Asia.
The injury is not thought to be a serious one but Chelsea will wrap him in cotton wool and he will sit out the more intense training sessions ahead of Sunday's clash with a Malaysia XI.
Lampard has just penned a new one-year deal and will be hoping to play a key role for Chelsea over the forthcoming campaign, so any niggles at this stage of pre-season will be treated with caution.
