Mancini tipped for Blues role

ChelseaSinisa Mihajlovic believes that Roberto Mancini is the man to takeover at Chelsea and insists the Blues are not too big for him.

Mancini is in the running to take over at Stamford Bridge following his departure from Inter Milan, and Mihajlovic, who was the Italian's assistant at the San Siro, says he could handle the pressure.

Mihajlovic said: "I don't consider Chelsea to be a club superior to Inter in terms of history. It is for that reason I say Roberto could easily manage Chelsea and do well.

"Mancini has been at Inter for four years and has won a lot. I think his future is abroad. The Premiership has always fascinated Roberto."

The Serb also revealed that if Mancini did get the job, he would follow him to Stamford Bridge: "My future is linked with Roberto for now. Where he goes, I will follow as we are a bonded by a profound friendship."

AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti is joint favourite with Mancini to take the role as speculation continues to hot up.
