Midfielder Frank Lampard is set for a rapid return to Chelsea's starting line-up for Sunday's game at title rivals Arsenal.
Lampard was expected to be sidelined for three weeks after suffering a torn thigh muscle in the build-up to England's friendly against Brazil earlier this month.
But, thanks to treatment at home and abroad, the Blues star has made a speedy recovery and was able to return to training earlier this week.
Boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed after the Porto win in midweek that Lampard is in contention for the game and he is expected to feature at the Emirates Stadium.
Leading scorer Didier Drogba, who missed last weekend's 4-0 victory against Wolves with a chest injury, will start in attack along with former Arsenal star Nicholas Anelka.
Midfielders Michael Ballack and Deco are also in contention after returning to full fitness following recent injuries with defender Jose Bosingwa the only long-term absentee as he recovers from knee surgery.
