Napoli have set a deadline of July 20th for the future of Edinson Cavani to be resolved as Chelsea continue to pursue a deal.
Chelsea are battling it out with Manchester City and Real Madrid for the services of the Uruguay striker, who has a £54million buy-out clause in his contract with the Italians.
That clause is due to expire on August 10th, which could mean a better deal for Chelsea or any other buying club, and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is obviously keen to sell before then.
Napoli want the situation resolved before the squad return for pre-season training and Laurentiis believes they will know one way or the other by July 20th.
"I don't think Cavani will leave on August 10," the Napoli chief revealed. "I'm confident in him because I consider him a real man. He won't make a joke of me.
"Should Cavani want to leave, he will decide it after a long period of reflection. But by July 20 we will probably know everything."
