Rovers eye Blues ace

ChelseaNew Blackburn boss Paul Ince is said to be lining up a bid to bring Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini to Ewood Park.

The Italian rarely gets a game at Stamford Bridge these days where he plays second fiddle to Blues number one Petr Cech but he has impressed when called on and also has valuable Premier League experience.

Speculation has arisen that Cudicini might be willing to move on, with Juventus and Bologna also said to be interested.

However, with Brad Friedel as the number one at Ewood Park, Cudicini would have to consider swapping one bench for another although long term he may see his future away from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Ince continues to try and convince Roque Santa Cruz and David Bentley that their futures are at the club and not elsewhere.
