Scolari makes Drogba pledge

ChelseaLuiz Felipe Scolari says Didier Drogba is not going to China with Chelsea because he is injured and insists he is not for sale.

Drogba was a notable absentee from the Chelsea squad that has travelled out to the Far East which kicked off rumours suggesting the Ivory Coast star was ready to move on.

However, Scolari says the reason he will not be going to China and Russia is because he has a niggling knee injury.

"Didier is injured and the doctor and our medical staff put together a recuperation plan for him and he will be out for three weeks, maximum four weeks," Scolari revealed.

"It was impossible for him to come with us to China."
