Shev rules out move talk

Andriy Shevchenko has again reiterated his desire to stay with AC Milan and says he will not sign for Chelsea this summer.

The Ukraine international has long-been linked with a move to the big-spending Blues, who are looking for a world-class forward to spearhead their attack and it is thought Roman Abramovich is the only man who can afford to sign the player from Milan.

Shevchenko has insisted on a number of previous occasions that he wants to stay with the Rossoneri but rumours of a move resurfaced again this week following an apparent bust-up with Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Shevchenko appeared upset after he was substituted during the 2-0 win against Livorno at the weekend and appeared to swear at Ancelotti on his way of the pitch, but the former Dynamo Kiev hitman has moved to play down talk of a move and pledge his future to the club.

Shevchenko said: "I was angry at myself, not at Ancelotti.

"Of course, no one likes to be substituted. My dream is to remain at Milan.

"Every year I hear reports on Abramovich and Chelsea but my wish is to remain a Rossoneri player until I am no longer able to give my very best for this team."
