Chelsea midfielder Ramires has spoken of his affection for Benfica and is keen to return to the Portuguese club in the future.
The Brazilian moved to Chelsea from Benfica back in 2010 and although he has settled in well at Stamford Bridge, the playmaker is angling for a return to Benfica.
Ramires has just forced his way back into Brazil's first-team set up and was speaking ahead of their clash with Portugal.
"Benfica have a great team with a great past, a great coach," Ramires revealed when quizzed about his former club. "Football is full of surprises and hopefully I'll return one day.
"I've still got a tremendous amount of affection for Benfica, not just because they opened the door to Europe for me but because of all the things I experienced there, how they welcomed me and how well everything turned out. I can only thank the club."
