Star linked with MLS

Last Updated: Sun, 01 Dec 2013 05:26

Ashley Cole is being linked with a move to America with New York Red Bulls should he decide to leave Chelsea.

Cole is out of contract in the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a new one as he struggles to hold down a regular place in the Chelsea starting line-up.

The 33-year-old is weighing up all of his options and could be keen to finish his career in the MLS by linking up with former Premier League stars Thierry Henry and Tim Cahill in New York.

Cole is known to like the lifestyle in the US and could be tempted by a move if New York follow up their reported interest.
