Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain says he has no plans to leave the Bernabeu despite reported interest from Chelsea.
The Argentine striker was rumoured to be heading for the exit at Real during the summer following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema.
However, a move failed to materialise and Higuain has cemented his place as a regular in the Real Madrid side, with the 22-year-old keen to remain with the Spanish giants for as long as possible.
"It would be a very big dream to stay here for a long time," said Higuain. "I am very happy and I would love to stay here many years, but that is something that my agent, who is my father, is dealing with, and even though I am keeping up to date with it, I am focused on the matches.
"You earn a new deal playing on the pitch and scoring goals."
It had been suggested Chelsea would try again in the summer to entice Higuain away from Real Madrid but it would seem as if the player is happy with his current employers.
