Chelsea skipper John Terry is reportedly a top target for Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini in the January transfer window.
The experienced centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to be offered an extension by boss Jose Mourinho.
That has led to suggestions the Blues are open to allowing the 32-year-old to move on in the new year and Turkish giants Gala are said to be keen.
Terry remains key to Mourinho plans in the Premier League and has so far started every league game this season so he is unlikely to be unsettled at Stamford Bridge and looking for a move away.
However, Chelsea have a policy of only offering players over 30 a one-year extension to their contract and that has alerted Mancini at Galatasaray as he apparently believes he could tempt Terry to join him with the lure of a longer-term deal and a lucrative pay-day abroad.
If Chelsea do decide to listen to offers for Terry, there would be extensive interest in the former England international from home and across the continent and whether a switch to Turkey to work with former Manchester City boss Mancini is attractive to Terry at this stage in his career remains to be seen.
