Winger linked with £10m switch

Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is a £10m target for Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp, according to reports.

Newcastle and Man City have also been linked with the 26-year-old England international who is out of the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge.

Wright-Phillips cost Chelsea £22m when they signed him from City in 2005 but there is no way the Londoners will recoup anywhere near that amount.

Redknapp has cash to spend after qualifying for the Uefa Cup and could now look to add the right-sided star to his side. But he is sure to face competition while Wright-Phillips could also sit tight until Chelsea appoint a new boss.
