Talbot eyeing final spot

Drew Talbot will hope to be involved at Wembley when Chesterfield face Peterborough in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

Talbot has been absent in recent weeks with a stomach problem but returned to the bench as an unused substitute in the midweek win over Morecambe. Spireites boss Paul Cook will check on him but Sunday's showpiece may come just too soon for the right-back.

On-loan Derby striker Mason Bennett is available but midfielder Daniel Kearns, on loan from Posh, is not eligible against his parent club.

Ollie Banks, Sam Hird, Marc Richards, Gary Roberts and Armand Gnanduillet were all on the bench against Morecambe and will hope they are recalled to Cook's starting line-up at Wembley
