Ian Henderson, Tom Bender and Michael Rose have left Colchester after having their contracts cancelled by mutual consent.
The U's revealed on their official website that all three were free to find new clubs after being released ahead of the transfer deadline.
The trio join Carl Pentney, who parted company with the U's on Wednesday, in leaving the club.
