Franck Moussa followed his manager's instructions to the letter during Coventry's 5-0 mauling of rock-bottom Hartlepool.

The Belgian midfielder, having been recalled to the Sky Blues' starting line-up, had been told by boss Mark Robins to go out and make his mark, and he duly netted his first goal for the club in the Victoria Ground romp.

"The manager told me I would be starting on Saturday and he told me to make sure I went out and gave a good performance," Moussa told the club's official website.

"It's definitely pleasing for me to get my first goal because I said when I came to the club that I wanted to bring something extra to the attacking side of the team. The goal has been a long time coming."

Moussa also hailed the impact of the travelling Coventry supporters.

He said: "The fans were absolutely brilliant. They brought a real atmosphere with them. They started asking for three, four and five and we gave them what they asked for."
