Kevin Thornton has left Coventry by mutual consent while Chris Coleman admits he needs a replacement for Guillaume Beuzelin.
The 22-year-old Thornton came through the ranks at Coventry by has struggled to establish himself in the first team, spending a spell on loan at Brighton last season.
Meanwhile, Coleman admits the club were unable to agree a deal to keep Guillaume Beuzelin for next season and that the Sky Blues are on the lookout for reinforcements.
Coleman told the Coventry Evening Telegraph: "To give 'Boozy' another year, we would have had to keep him on the same contract.
"We were looking at what we are going to do this season and wanted to come to a different offer for him, but we couldn't agree with his agent."
