Steven Pressley has no interest in taking Blackburn Rovers winger Fabio Nunes on loan to Coventry City.
The Sky Blues had earlier looked into getting the 21-year-old on a permanent deal, but such a move failed to materialise and Pressley is not looking to make any loan additions during the window.
Pressley stated: "There is interest but not in respect of us moving to take him on loan because that's not necessarily the case.
"The situation is that Nunes was a player who, prior to the window closing, we were interested in but it didn't materialise.
"There's obviously speculation out there but I haven't made any decision on whether we will go back and take the player on loan because the truth is I am not the biggest fan of loan players."
City, currently sitting 23rd in League One after a 10-point deduction, entertain Gillingham on Sunday hoping to carry on their positive march up the table.
