Coventry have handed young midfielder Jack Finch his first professional deal.

The 17-year-old, who had a place in the matchday squad towards the end of the season, has signed a deal to keep him with the Sky Blues until June 2016.

Manager Steven Pressley told the club's official website: "Jack is a player that we have high hopes for because we feel that he has great potential.

"He will be welcomed into the first-team set-up because we want him to develop as he is still a young boy, but he has done very well in our development squad.

"He was also given the experience of being part of the matchday squad towards the end of last season so we hope he can continue to progress in the manner that he has done."
