John Fleck, Richard Wood, Gary McSheffrey and Cody McDonald are all back in training ahead of Coventry's home clash against high-flying Notts County.

Midfielder Fleck suffered a nasty head injury in last Saturday's 2-2 draw at Swindon which saw him knocked unconscious and require lengthy treatment before being taken to hospital, where he was later released following tests.

He has been routinely monitored all this week and it remains to be seen whether he will feature.

Defender Wood, already playing with a broken nose, suffered a second break against the Robins but the battle-hardened Yorkshireman looks set to face the fifth-placed Magpies.

Winger McSheffrey and striker McDonald have both missed out of late with foot and knee injuries respectively but are expected to compete for a place in manager Mark Robins' matchday 18. David Bell (hip) and Conor Thomas (knee) remain long-term absentees.
