Coventry Chairman Ray Ranson says the Sky Blues are close to signing "three or four" new players.
Boss Chris Coleman has yet to add to his squad at the Ricoh Arena this summer, while captain Scott Dann has joined Birmingham and Robbie Simpson has left for Huddersfield Town.
But Ranson has assured fans that deals are in the pipeline to bring new players in and he expects new faces to arrive soon.
"There's no need for anyone to panic," he told the Coventry Telegraph.
"We have spoken to all the clubs and parties involved and we are just waiting for things to fall into place. These things take time but I am confident we will have three or four bodies through the door soon."
He added: "The players have not even started back for pre-season training yet, so we are certainly not worried. It is an ongoing situation and we are in negotiations with a number of clubs regarding players we would like to bring to Coventry City."
