Dimi Konstantopolous is set to sit down for talks with Chris Coleman to discuss his future at Coventry but admits he may need to move.
The Greek goalkeeper spent much of last season out on loan, with spells at both Cardiff and Swansea, having falling behind Keiren Westwood in the battle to become Coleman's first choice.
Konstantopolous admits that is desperate for regular action and as he prepares to speak to the manager when the squad return for pre-season, although he has indicated he may need to look for a new club.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, the keeper said: "There has been a lot of talk about Hartlepool but that's not going to happen because they could only take me on loan and that was not the best deal for Coventry.
"I would like to stay in the Championship."
He added: "In an ideal world I would stay at Coventry and fight for my place but I cannot hide the fact that Keiren did very well last season and is the manager's first choice, so it is difficult.
"I will have a chat with the manager and he knows that I want and need to play games so it all depends on what he says, so a few things need to be sorted out."
