Guillaume Beuzelin is open to offers from City's rivals after Coventry granted him permission to speak to other clubs.
The French midfielder, who joined on a free transfer from Hibernian last summer, signed a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.
But Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman has decided not to take up that extension, despite initial talks reportedly taking place, and Beuzelin is now looking for a new club.
The 30-year-old scored one goal in 39 appearances for the Sky Blues last season.
