Striker completes switch

CreweOut-of-favour Clayton Donaldson has completed his switch to Crewe Alexandra today for a fee thought to be in the region of £100,000.

The striker, who was brought to Easter Road by former Hibs manager John Collins last summer, has agreed a three-year contract with the bottom-placed League One outfit after personal terms were finally sorted out over the weekend.

The SFA are expected to grant the 24-year-old international clearance imminently before the deal is rubber stamped and the ex-York marksman can then start reviving his career after becoming a bit-part player ever since Mixu Paatelainen's January arrival.
