The Aussies, without a number of top stars, made just 198-5 from their 50 overs on an awkward Darwin pitch, with Mike Hussey's 57 the top score for the world champions.
Opener Shaun Marsh contributed 30 and, despite failing to reach 200, the hosts were never in danger of losing the match, as wickets tumbled with regularity during the Bangladesh reply.
Tamim Iqbal threatened briefly with 63 from 69 deliveries but 3-30 from James Hopes and 2-8 in five overs from Shane Watson made sure of a 3-0 scoreline and continued dominance for the Australian side.
