Austrian striker linked

C PalaceReports have suggested that Crystal Palace are keen to sign Austrian forward Roman Kienast from Norweigian side Ham Kam.

Palace manager Neil Warnock is keen to add to his forward line after allowing Clinton Morrison to leave.

It is now thought that Warnock has turned his attention to 24-year-old striker Kienast who was in Austria's squad at the European Championships this summer.

Kienast is currently on loan at Swedish side Helsingborgs IF and it is thought that they are also keen on the player.

Should Palace make a move for the forward they could fund the deal with the £1million expected should former striker Andy Johnson move from Everton to Fulham.

The Eagles are in line to receive the money as part of a sell on clause in the deal which saw Johnson move to Everton from Palace.
