Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has confirmed he is interested in signing Ipswich's out of favour striker Alan Lee.
The Eagles lost Clinton Morrison to Coventry last week and are seeking an urgent replacement and the former Chelsea forward is one they have on the radar.
Warnock confirmed: "Alan Lee is one of many strikers we have enquired about."
Meanwhile Palace have been given a tricky looking second round tie in the Carling Cup when they will travel to face Leeds United in the week beginning August 25th.
