Eagles back in for City ace

Last Updated: Mon, 14 Oct 2013 08:04

Crystal Palace will make another attempt to sign Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim, reports have claimed.

Eagles boss Ian Holloway had been heavily linked with a move for the player throughout the summer but a deal failed to materialise and he ended up joining Norwegian club Stromsgodset on loan.

That spell is due to end in December and reports claim Holloway will make another attempt to sign him then, after City made it clear the youngster is free to move on.

Palace will face strong competition for his services though as a number of clubs throughout Europe are known to be keen on the talented 22-year-old, who has been compared to former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira.
