Crystal Palace have decided not to launch an appeal over Matt Lawrence's sending off at the weekend for fear of an extended ban. But, after seeing the referee's report, Warnock has decided against it, he told the Croydon Guardian: "I don't think we are going to appeal because knowing our luck they will add another game on.
"What the referee said in his report is not what he told me after the game.
"He has looked at the incident and reviewed what he said and it is difficult to see how we could win the appeal with what he said."
