Eagles search for new coach

Crystal Palace are on the lookout for a new fitness coach after Carl Serrant upped sticks and joined Sheffield United.

The former Newcastle defender was brought to Selhurst Park by Neil Warnock when the manager took over at the club following the departure of Peter Taylor.

Speaking to the Advertiser, Warnock said he was hoping to have a replacement in before the end of the month.

"I can confirm that Carl has left the club and will join Sheffield United," he said. "I hope to have a new fitness coach in place very soon."
