Crystal Palace are aiming to improve their scouting network throughout Europe in the hope of unearthing more talent.
Eagles boss Ian Holloway believes there are bargains to be had on the continent and co-chairman Steve Parish says the club are ready to cast their net far and wide.
"We are trying to develop more of a scouting network across Europe as we aim to be more pro-active," he said. "We need to get a better understanding of Europe and we are looking at a bigger scouting network.
"We are looking at France, Spain and Benelux [Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg] and trying to put something in place to help us in those areas."
