Crystal Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne has rejected a deadline day move to Premier League Wolves.
Clyne is regarded as one of the best young prospects outside the Premier League and a number of clubs are rumoured to be interested.
Wolves were looking to capitalise on Palace's money problems and get the highly rated full-back for a cheap price.
Palace Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle earlier confirmed he had accepted a bid for the youngster but Clyne had rejected the move.
Guilfoyle told SkySports: "Nathaniel Clyne was given permission to speak to Wolves after they agreed a fee for his services, but he has refused to open talks with him."
