Forest in fresh Watson raid link

Nottingham Forest have again been linked to Palace's Ben Watson after their loan midfield signing Paul Anderson picked up an injury.

A scan revealed that Anderson had a thigh injury that could keep him out of action for up to a month, although the Liverpool loanee is expected to be back before the end of August.

The Eagles' want away midfielder Watson is top of Forest manager Colin Calderwood's wish list, however the £2million asking price may prove to be a stumbling block for the newly promoted side.

However Forest might be too late with QPR looking favourites to complete the signing of Watson and may have to turn their attentions elsewhere.
