Newcastle move for Moses

Newcastle have made a substantial bid for Crystal Palace striker Victor Moses but there is plenty of interest in the player.

Palace have to sell the young striker before the closure of the transfer window after they went into administration and Newcastle boss Chris Hughton is closing in on a swoop.

The Magpies have made a big offer for the player and now negotiations are ongoing with a view to wrapping up a deal. A host of clubs are in for Moses though and it is almost certain that he will be sold to the highest bidder.
