Crystal Palace have been boosted by the news teenage starlet Victor Moses has agreed to sign a new four-year deal at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles were concerned that Moses, who has been linked with a possible summer switch to Premier League giants Arsenal, could follow Tottenham-bound John Bostock to north London during the close-season. However, the Nigerian-born academy product has emulated Sean Scannell by agreeing to stay with Palace for the long-term.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "The chairman [Simon Jordan] was disappointed with the whole John Bostock saga because he wants to keep our better players at the club.
"But this is a great day for the club and it shows that the young lads have actually listened to us. We've told them that they are better off here and getting first-team experience rather than going to a big club and playing reserve football."
