Palace wait on Chelsea ace

Neil Warnock believes he will have to wait until October at the earliest if he is to bring Chelsea's Scott Sinclair back to the club.

The Palace boss believes big Premiership clubs like Chelsea want to keep their younger players at the club in the early part of the season so they can play in the Carling Cup.

Now Warnock has warned that Palace could miss out all together on the player they had on loan at the end of last season especially as he believes Chelsea's new boss Phil Scolari likes the look of the youngster as well.

He told the Advertiser: "I don't think we will get Scott until October at the earliest.

"Scolari wants to have a look at him and apparently he likes him as well - so, if I'm honest, if we do get him it will only be on a monthly basis."
