Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is hoping the win over Wolves encourages a new investor to get involved with the club.

A seven-minute second-half hat-trick from Danny Butterfield ensured the cash-strapped Eagles will face Aston Villa in the next round of the FA Cup and Warnock hopes it will also help attract a new buyer.

Warnock said: "Hopefully now someone else will come in. There is excitement here now.

"We're going back to basics. No prima donnas, none of the stories you see on the front pages these days.

"This is real football."
