Dagenham manager Wayne Burnett is backing his side to emerge from their slump after a 2-1 loss to Plymouth dented their play-off hopes.
The Daggers are now on a worrying run of just one win from the last eight games after a home defeat which saw Zavon Hines cancel out Reuben Reid's opener only for Lewis Alessandra to earn Argyle the points.
"We tried everything but it just wouldn't come off for us," he said.
"I can't fault the lads for effort and commitment, though. We've tried our absolute best to break Plymouth down, but credit to them, they've managed to hold on.
"It's been a frustrating spell for us, but there's more than enough character here to get us through this.
"We've got to re-group as best we can I guess, and bounce back in the next game.
"We'll be okay, but we just need more ruthlessness in and around the box."
