Dagenham defender Luke Wilkinson has signed a new contract with the club until 2015.

Wilkinson arrived at Victoria Road after his release by Portsmouth in 2010 and spent his first two seasons on loan at non-league sides Boreham Wood and Dartford.

But he has been a regular part of manager John Still's side this term and even bagged four goals in the process.

Still said: "When Luke Wilkinson signed as a young player from Portsmouth we knew it would take him a little bit of time to settle in.

"He's come in this year and done fantastic and made his place in the team his own.

"He looks to be another young and exciting player that we seem to develop here and I am delighted he has signed another contract."
