Blades reject Hulse claims

DerbySheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell insists striker Rob Hulse is going nowhere despite interest from Derby County.

The former Leeds player is reportedly on Rams boss Paul Jewell's shopping list, but the Blades chief claims he does not have to sell anyone he wants to stay at Bramall Lane.

"Any player that will go, will go under Sheffield United's terms," Blackwell told the BBC.

"We don't have to get rid of players just for the sake of getting rid of players.

"Rob Hulse isn't going anywhere, we decide who goes where and when they go."

Yesterday, Derby chairman Adam Pearson refused to rule out a move for Hulse.

"It's not beyond the realms of possibility," he told the Telegraph. "Rob's definitely a player that interests us.

"He's a player that definitely interests the manager."
