Hull are reportedly set to hijack Derby's move for Wigan striker Marlon King who appears set to leave the JJB after just six months.But with Latics trying to sign Everton ace Andy Johnson, boss Steve Bruce could cut his losses on a player who failed to convince last term.
It has even been claimed King has been given permission to agree personal terms with the Tigers after a £3m fee was agreed.
