Double figures on cards for Jewell

DerbyRams chairman Adam Pearson has promised Derby fans three more major signings before the start of the season.

Paul Jewell has been the busiest manager in the transfer market so far this summer, completing seven close season signings, including Nathan Ellington, Kris Commons and Jordan Stewart.

And Pearson will continue to back the Pride Park manager until he has taken the list of arrivals into double figures.

"We have done a lot already this summer but there is still a lot to do," Pearson told the club's official website.

"We definitely don't want prima donnas at this football club, we want people with a point to prove, people that want to work hard for Paul and most importantly the club.

"There are still three key signings to make: a centre-half, centre midfielder and centre forward - they will be our biggest signings of the summer."
