Kieron Freeman is the latest Derby player to receive an international call-up after the full-back was named in the Wales Under-21 squad.

Freeman has been picked by Geraint Williams, a former Ram, for the friendly against Iceland in Llanelli on Wednesday, February 6.

The 20-year-old has made seven first-team appearances for Derby since joining the club from east midlands rivals Nottingham Forest in the summer.

He has been capped at various youth levels for Wales, six of which have come in the Under-21s.

Centre-half Richard Keogh, midfielder Jeff Hendrick and striker Conor Sammon were named in the Republic of Ireland senior squad while defender Mark O'Brien (Republic of Ireland Under-21s) and striker Mason Bennett (England Under-17s) have also received call-ups this week.
