On-loan Derby winger Lee Croft could miss the remainder of the season with a torn hamstring.

Croft is on loan at SPL side St Johnstone and his three goals in 11 league games have put them in the chase for European qualification. Saints are fourth in the table with five games to play.

Croft suffered the injury after 35 minutes of the goalless draw against Inverness at the weekend.

The 26-year-old, who joined St Johnstone in January, said via social networking site Twitter: "I am gutted but will do my utmost to get back as soon as possible, hopefully before the end of the season. Fingers crossed."
