Last season's top scorer Rob Hulse says he wants to stay with the club and battle for his first team place at the Rams.

Hulse appeared to be on the verge of a move to Middlesbrough last summer but that never materialized and he has again been linked with a switch during the current transfer window but he claims he wants to stay and fight for his place.

"I'm not expecting anything to happen," he told the Derby Telegraph.

"I showed my loyalty to the football club in the last transfer window and I'm not seeking to get out or anything like that.

"I'm just trying to get myself back in the team and do well for Derby County."
