Rams complete double capture

Derby have completed the captures of Latvian midfielder Andrejs Pereplotkins and Serbian striker Alexsandar Prijovic.

Paul Jewell had promised to add more new signings to his squad and has delivered, with Pereplotkins joining on a season-long loan from Skonto FC and the Rams capturing Prijovic from Parma.

The 23-year-old Pereplotkins impressed whilst on trial at Pride Park, playing on the right-hand side of midfield in the recent pre-season friendly against Utrecht.

Prijovic, who's 18, was playing for the Serie A side last season but rejected a new deal with Parma and the 6' 2" frontman has decided instead to move to Pride Park.

Pereplotkins, who has won five caps for his country, has already received his international clearance, but Derby are still waiting on clearance for Prijovic.
