Nottingham Forest are reported to be closing in on a move for Derby midfielder Stephen Pearson ahead of the transfer deadline.Forest are said to have made an approach for Pearson, who has already turned down Birmingham, and are ready to offer him regular first-team football in an attempt to lure him to the club.
