Striker could move - Pearson

DerbyDerby will sell striker Kenny Miller to Rangers if they receive the right offer from the Ibrox outfit according to Adam Pearson.

The director of football at Pride Park says reports in Scotland of a buy out clause of just £1.6m are nonsense and if the Gers want to purchase the striker, the deal will have to suit the Rams.

Pearson told the Derby Telegraph: "We've invested a lot of time and money into Kenny so the deal would have to be right for Derby County.

"There's no financial reason for us to sell but, if Kenny wants to go to Rangers and the fee is right, then we'll do a deal. But it has to be what's best for Derby."

"We have heard nothing from Rangers. We've heard all the speculation and comments which makes you think there may be something in it. But unless Rangers make a move, it's still all speculation."
