Target wants move

DerbyReported Derby target Keith Fahey has confirmed he would like to move from St Patrick's Athletic and play his football elsewhere.

The former Arsenal midfielder has again been outstanding for his club in Ireland but he is frustrated with a lack of medals and has decided the time has come to move.

There has been no shortage of supposedly interested parties of which the Rams are one along with Sunderland, West Ham and Reading but it remains to be seen who makes a move when the window opens in January.

"I would like to move on. I don't think I can do any more at Pat's," he said. "Again, I am majorly disappointed that I haven't won a medal. But I would like to move on if someone comes across.

"There is speculation and I know as much as you. There are a couple of things going on. Hopefully something will happen towards the transfer window."
