Tigers land Rams striker

DerbyDerby striker Craig Fagan has rejoined Hull City in a £750,000 deal and he will join the squad for the pre-season trip to Italy.

It is no surprise that Fagan has returned to Hull after a successful spell on loan at the end of last season where he was influential in the push for promotion. He originally went to Pride Park back in 2007 and made 22 appearances for the Rams last season.

Paul Jewell told Derby's website: "Craig leaves with our best wishes and thanks for the hard work he put in at Derby.

"I don't think it's any secret that Craig wanted to make his deal permanent and I believe it's a deal that benefits all parties involved - both clubs and the player."

Phil Brown will continue to add to his squad as he builds a side which he hopes will be able to hold their own in the Premiership and the next man in could well be Brazilian midfielder Geovanni.
