Whites linked to Rams winger

Leeds boss Gary McAllister is said to be in talks with Derby over a move for their Scottish international right winger Gary Teale.

The 29-year-old looks to be surplus to requirements at Pride Park as Rams boss Paul Jewell rebuilds their squad for an assault on the Championship.

McAllister is keeping track of a number of transfer targets and has been told the former Wigan winger would cost in the region of £500,000, but if he landed him he would then have the genuine width that the side lacked last season.

Teale would join Swansea City winger Andy Robinson who will complete a free transfer move to Elland Road next month.
